Display Advertising Guidelines

1. All photos and art used in the document should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

2. Most art or graphics downloaded and saved from the internet are only 72 dpi and will pixilate when printed.

3. Be certain that your computer has ALL fonts used in your publication available at the time you prepare your pdf’s. Screen fonts will appear correct on your monitor but when printed will default to Courier. We recommended you avoid using True Type fonts whenever possible.

4. Always embed ALL fonts including those used in EPS files. Converting text to paths in EPS files, such as Illustrator, Freehand or Corel, eliminates hidden missing font problems. Be aware that this may slightly change the shape of the letter, and you won’t be able to edit the text later.

5. Make certain that all graphics submitted are done using cmyk color mode. All black should be Cyan 0, Magenta 0, Yellow 0, Black 100. DO NOT use "Registration" color.

6. We cannot accept native files of any kind. Your publication must be delivered as a pdf, tif, eps or jpg ONLY! (Some examples of native format files are Pagemaker, Quark Xpress, InDesign, Publisher, Corel Draw... we cannot except these types of documents.)

8. Leading problems with electronic files:
-Use of low resolution graphics
-Missing fonts
-File set-up incorrectly or saved incorrectly
-Files that will not open
-ALWAYS open your final file and look at it!
